VICTORIAN GOLD FOB WATCH & CHAIN:
circa 1880

Exquisitely beautiful, unusual and rare late Victorian circ 1880, 18 ct yellow gold ladies fob watch with original matching chain. The watch being made in the form of an insect that has a mechanism which allows the wings of the inset to open, which in turn reveals the watch. The entire piece is decorated with red/blue enamel work. Which is inset with old Victorian cut diamonds. The original chain is also decorated with matching enamel work. The watch itself has a white enamel dial with numerals and the movement from Switzerland.
