Very unusual piece which can be worn on a muff chain or an Albert chain. It is a Victorian nine-carat rose gold combined Vesta case and Sovereign holder.
On one side there is a section that holds sovereigns, they clip down into it. And on the reverse there is a vesta case to hold "strike anywhere matches."
The two can be closed and worn beautifully on a Victorian chain.
