It was made in France C1950 and is set in the finest quality platinum setting with brilliant-cut diamonds and sapphire stones set in a leaf style design.
The size of the brooch is impressive but the quality of manufacture and the free flowing movement in this piece is even more impressive.
The beautiful design of it is not old fashioned in any way so it could be worn by a lady in her twenties or eighties.
It is an exceptional piece and has a timeless elegance to it that a lot of brooches do not have.
