Wonderful original vintage gold necklace, was made c1960 to 1970 and made in nine-carat yellow gold.
The collar itself is made in a fish scale pattern, beautifully woven together, with a striking clasp at the back, and a ribbon loop connector in the same style at the front.
It is highly unusual and as wearable today as it was when it was made.
