Really special piece: a beautiful original Art Nouveau period pendant necklace designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty and company and this pendant is contained in its original Liberty and company box designs.
Archibald’s style bridged the Art Nouveau period, and Arts and Crafts movement with a lot of his inspiration from the Celtic Revival movement.
This piece was made c1905 to 1910 and is set in eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum, set in the centre with an incredible oval-shaped moonstone set in a rub-over setting. It is decorated with old round-cut diamonds in this beautiful artful and leaf design, incredibly contained in its original box over 100 years after it was made.
