Very unusual ring made in England c1900 to 1910, from the Art Nouveau period.
It is unusually made in twenty-two-carat yellow gold and has a beautiful butterfly colour to the gold rather than a brassy yellow.
It is handmade as you can see, and hand finished, so it is not completely smooth all the way around.
It is set in the centre with a wonderful old European-cut diamond set within four claws.
It is a beautiful ring, suitable for any finger, but particularly as a pinky ring.
