Extremely pretty original antique ruby and diamond three-stone ring made c1910 to 1915, in the Edwardian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting with a beautiful ruby in the centre.
It is a round-cut stone set within eight claws, and is simply set on each side with a single old brilliant-cut diamond in similar clawed setting. The shoulders are decorated in what is known as a split-shank design.
