Incredible original early 19th century pendant-cum-brooch. It was made in France c1800 in the French Empire style. It is set in the centre with an incredible enamel hand painted rural scene of a shepherd with a sheep. It is all encrusted with pearls and rose-cut diamonds, and white enamel around the portrait itself. The filigree in the frame is absolutely incredible. It has a detachable fitting at the top so that it can be morphed into a brooch or into a pendant
