It is set in a fine eighteen carats white gold setting with a single old brilliant-cut diamond in the centre set in a six claw setting.
The diamond weight of the centre stone is approx. forty points so it is not the largest of diamonds but what makes this beautiful ring exceptional is the craftmanship of its setting.
It is beautifully pierced and carved which gives this little beauty a light feeling the direct opposite to modern rings which sometimes are heavy and over sized looking.
