This exceptional original Victorian bracelet was made in England C1900.
It is made in fifteen carats yellow gold and is of a curb link design.
Victorian gold bracelets in fifteen carats gold are very unusual and rare to find these days as most Victorian bracelets are either made in nine carats or eighteen carats gold.
Fifteen carats yellow gold was most used in Victorian jewellery and was used until C1920 when the standard of gold was changed to eighteen carats gold.
This bracket also has its original hand beaten heart shaped lock catch and which is even more unusual and rare is that the lock has a working mechanism with its original key to open and lock the clasp.
This is a beautiful and rare original Victorian bracelet.
