This ring is known as a panel ring. It is from the Art Deco period and was made in England c1915-1920.
It is set in a very fine handmade platinum setting with two old brilliant-cut diamonds as the centrepiece to the ring. This is surrounded by six smaller brilliant-cut diamonds and an outer row of brilliant-cut diamonds all in a rectangle-shaped panel. tshe shoulders of the ring are decorated in what is known as a split shank design.
