Amazing and unusual opal and diamond set ring made c1950 and it is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and white gold setting. It is set in the centre with an amazing black opal stone which is of a cushion shape and cabochon cut.
It set in a very fine rub-over setting and is surrounded by a single row of brilliant cut diamonds in an octagonal setting.
The shoulders of the ring are also beautifully decorated.
