Extremely pretty original Edwardian period opal and diamond set ring made in England c1910 to 1915.
It is set in a very fine eighteen-carat rich yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with a beautiful round cabochon-cut fire opal, set within ten claws, and is surrounded by a single row of old European-cut diamonds, all in a beautiful cluster style setting.
The shoulders of the ring are decorated in what is known as a split-shank design.
