Exceptional sapphire and diamond set ring made in England c1915, in the Edwardian period.
It is set in the finest handmade platinum setting with a wonderful rich blue sapphire stone in the centre set in a Milgrain setting. This is surrounded by a single row of small old brilliant cut diamonds and the shoulders of the ring are further enhanced with small sapphires and slightly smaller old brilliant cut diamonds.
