Highly unusual and rare ring. An piece of Egyptian porcelain graces the centre of the ring in the form of a scarab.
It was made over 3000 years ago, and it depicts a scarab mounted on a high-gold standard ring in the Georgian era, c1800.
The detail surrounding the scarab and the shank of the ring is absolutely exceptional.
It was a symbol of rebirth and transformation in ancient Egypt.
