The shape of this ring is typical of the Art Deco period: pure geometric lines, set in the most fantastic platinum. It was made in England c1920.
It is set in the centre with an Asscher-cut ruby in a milgrain setting, surrounded by a single row of old-small brilliant-cut diamonds. and then again by a row of smaller square French-cut rubies.
It could be called a square target ring, in the elegantly subversive Art Deco style.
