Exceptional original Art Deco period single stone diamond set solitaire ring, made in England c1920 it is set in a fine platinum setting with a single old brilliant-cut diamond in the centre set in a four claw setting, diamond weight ~ 2.46cts, colour-h, clarity-vs1. The shoulders of the ring are also set with smaller brilliant-cut diamonds in a split shank design with the shank of the ring being hand engraved in the Art Deco manner.
