Beautiful original late 19th century diamond set cluster ring made in France c1890 to 1910. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting and it is set in the centre with a large old European-cut diamond set within eight claws. The diamond weight in the centre is two carats and twenty-one points. It is surrounded by a single row of old European-cut diamonds and the weight of these stones is two carats and forty points. The shoulders are decorated in what is known as a split shank design.
