Exceptionally pretty original sapphire and diamond set ring made between the Edwardian and the Art Deco periods in England, c1915.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting. It is set in the centre with a single row of old brilliant-cut diamonds.
It features on each side a single row of square French-cut sapphire stones, and on the outside another row of old brilliant-cut diamonds.
The shoulders are decorated in what is known as a split-shank design.
