It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting and it is set in the centre with a single row of six old brilliant-cut diamonds slightly graduated in size.
On each side is a single row of square French-cut sapphire stones.
The shoulders of the ring are decorated in what is known as a split shank design.
