Stunning original Art Deco period sapphire and diamond set ring made in France c1920 to 1930. It is set in a fine platinum setting with a beautiful emerald-cut rich blue sapphire stone with canted corners set in the centre within four claws.
The sapphire weight is three carats twenty points. It is surrounded by a single row of old round-cut diamonds set in an octagonal shaped setting. It also has smaller diamonds set into the shoulders of the ring.
