Really unusual original antique ring made in the Art Deco period circa 1920 to 1930. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and white gold setting, and is set in the centre with a round-cut, really vivid Mexican fire opal, set within four claws.
It is surrounded by a single row of baguette-cut diamonds, which are very, very Art Deco. The shoulders are decorated with smaller, brilliant cut diamonds, in a style reminiscent of the shape of a ballerina tutu.

Powerfully French black opal and diamond cluster ring
