Amazing late 19th century opal and diamond set ring made in England c1880 to 1890.
It set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting and it is set in the centre with a beautiful fiery opal set within four claws.
This is surrounded by a single row of old round-cut diamonds in a beautiful oval shaped setting.
The shoulders of the ring are beautifully embossed and engraved in the Victorian manner.
