Five-stone rings are quite rare, as you usually find four or three-stone rings.
This beautiful specimen was made in England c1900, set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow-gold setting typical of the Victorian period.
It features a rich-blue oval sapphire stone at its centre, set within six claws, set on each side with a single old round-cut diamond, and with on either end a smaller sapphire stone.
(You can find this item in the category Under €2,000, as well as Sapphire rings)
