Really unusual and rare piece, this beautiful brooch was made in France c1930 to 1940. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold, and it obviously depicts a floral basket full of flowers. The flowers are made from emeralds and diamonds, rubies and diamonds, and sapphire and diamonds. What is really unusual about this brooch is that the pin section of the broach opens back to reveal a watch inside.
