Really unusual antique sapphire and diamond set ring made in France c1905 to 1915 and set in a very fine handmade platinum setting.
It is set in the centre with a beautiful oval-shaped rich blue sapphire stone set within four claws.
The sapphire weight is approximately one carat and seventy points.
The shoulders are decorated in what is known as a split-shank design decorated with leaves and inset with old round-cut diamonds.
It is a really unusual and unique ring.
