Exquisite mid 19th century turquoise and pearl set cross and chain. And this wonderful necklace was made c1860 in England and it is set in eighteen-carat yellow gold.
It is what is known as a Forget-Me-Not cross because it is set with the turquoise and the pearls in these beautiful little Forget-Me-Not flowers.
The chain is actually a chain of natural pearls, which is wonderful, and it even has its original gold clasp also set with natural pearls.
A really unusual and rare necklace.
