Exquisite and rare late Victorian lady’s 4 row natural choker pearl necklace, made c1880. It has a beautiful platinum and eighteen-carat gold oval shaped centre piece. It has a wonderful old cut oval shaped diamond set in a fine 6 claw setting in the centre which is surrounded by numerous old cut diamonds in a beautiful floral fretwork design. The centre panel which is also the clasp is light in weight and should sit perfectly on the neck. The natural pearls are not graduated in size and measure 3 mm and are of excellent colour, texture and quality.
