Wonderful early 19th century gold-filled fob. It is decorated in what is known as Rococo work, very unusual set in the centre with a fox’s head.
It has the original intaglio in the base of the fob, and comes in a beautiful little case. We have printed for you in wax the intaglio representing a soldier, most likely Roman or Etruscan.
