Really unusual and rare antique ring made in France c1880 to 1900. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting and is obviously made in the form of a snake.
The snake’s head is set with two old round-cut diamonds, and a really lovely feature is that the texture of the gold in the ring is made to represent the scaling of an actual snake.
It is a really beautiful and unusual piece.
