Really unusual original French ring made c1900 to 1920, from the Edwardian to Art Deco period. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat slightly rose coloured gold setting with a really unusual Topaz stone in the centre, set within eight claws. This stone is known as an Imperial Topaz stone. It has got the richest colour that a Topaz stone can have. It is set on each side in what’s known as a split shank design.
