This ring was probably custom-made for someone with a strong sense of design.
It was made in France c1900-1910, set in the finest of platinum settings, with a natural pearl at its centre, with trillion-cut sapphire stones set at the top and bottom, surrounded by a single row of transitional-cut diamonds graduated in size: larger ones at the top and bottom, medium one on the sides, and smaller one in between.
