Stunning mid to late 19th century sapphire and diamonds cluster ring made in France c1880 to 1900.
It is set in a very fine eighteen-carat yellow gold which is slightly rose in colour and set in the centre with a beautiful rich blue oval-shaped sapphire stone set within eight claws.
It is surrounded by a single row of old European-cut diamonds in this beautiful cluster style setting, and the shoulders of the ring are highlighted with a single old European-cut diamond.

The sapphire weight is approximately one carat, and the diamond weight is approximately one carat and thirty points.
