Lovely example of an original Edwardian two-stone sapphire and diamond set ring being made c1910 to 1915. It is set in a very fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting itself with a beautiful rich blue round-cut sapphire stone and a matching transitional-cut diamond.
This ring in Ireland and England is known as a two-stone twist ring and in France as a toi-et-moi.
