Unusual and rare original Georgian period lady’s diamond set dress ring made in England c1780 it is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and silver fronted setting. It is set in the centre with a single old Georgian (rose) cut oval shaped diamond set in a six claw setting. Weight is one carats (approx.). It is decorated on each shoulder in a split shank design which is also set with smaller diamonds.
