Very unusual pair of earrings made in England in the Georgian period, c1780-1800.
They are set in fine gold settings, silver fronted.
The are set in the centre with a pear-shaped ruby, surrounded by a single row of rose-cut diamonds in the shape of a heart, with a small ruby set above, and an arrow going through each earring.
