It is set in a fine handmade platinum setting with two old brilliant-cut diamonds set side by side in a beautiful two-stone twist setting. This is known in England as a two-stone diamond twist ring and in France as a toi-et-moi ring.
The diamonds in the ring are exactly the same size. They are both one carat and thirty-two points, a colour G to H, and a clarity Si2.
