This superb original antique diamond and ruby set ring was made c1910 to 1915, in the Edwardian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting, and it is set in the centre with a wonderful transitional-cut diamond set in a milgrain setting.
The diamond weight in the centre is two carats and eighteen points.
It is a colour I and a clarity Si1.
It is surrounded by a single row of alternating trios of square French cut rubies and smaller diamonds, in what is known as a target shape setting.
