Beautiful original late Victorian period ruby and diamond set dress ring, made in England c1880. It is set in a fine 18ct yellow gold carved gypsey style setting with a single oval shaped Burmese ruby in the centre set in a fine 6 claw setting. It is set on each side with a single old round cut Victorian diamond in a similar clawed setting. Diamond weight 1.40, Colour G, Clarity VS1.
