Impressive ring magnificent made in England c1910-1915, during the Edwardian period, set in a fine platinum setting with an amazing black opal as its centrepiece within a clawed setting. It is also known as a boulder opal. It is set on each side with smaller brilliant-cut diamonds in a split-shank design.
