Late Victorian brooch set in eighteen-carat yellow gold, with a wonderful old European-cut diamond at the centre of a flower.
It is of a delicate crescent-shaped patterned flower and leaf design, set with further smaller European-cut diamonds in the leaves of the brooch, with also three beautiful rubies.
The centre-piece diamond actually moves when the brooch is worn.
It was made c1880-1890.
