Beautiful and original late Georgian period ruby and diamond set ring, made in England c1820. It is set in a fine 18ct yellow gold setting with a single Burmese ruby in the centre set in a fine clawed setting. This is surrounded by 12 old cut Georgian diamonds set in a similar clawed setting. The shoulders of this ring are a particular nice feature and are designed in a scroll and tied knot design.
