Outstanding sapphire and diamond set three-stone ring made c1940 and set in a handmade platinum setting with the most amazing oval shaped large rich blue sapphire stone in the centre set within four claws.

The sapphire weight is six carats and fifteen points.
It is set on each side with a single old brilliant-cut diamond in a similar clawed setting.
The diamond weight is one carat and eighteen points each.
They are a colour G to H, and a clarity Vs2.
