Amazing amethyst and diamond set ring , out of this world.
It is a vintage piece made in America c1950.
It is set in a fine fourteen-carat white gold setting with an amazing emerald cut amethyst stone in the centre set within four claws.

The weight of the amethyst here is approximately twenty carats.
It is simply set on each shoulder with three brilliant cut diamonds in a split shank design.
