Wonderful original vintage emerald and diamond set ring made by one of the most prominent French companies Mellerio dits Meller (the oldest jewellery house in Europe) c1970 and set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with a wonderful emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald set within four claws.
The emerald weight is approximately two and a half carats. The shoulders of the ring are decorated in a split shank with brilliant-cut diamonds.
