Fit to guide a sailor lost at sea: moon crescent and stars. This absolutely beautiful original mid to late 19th century necklace a beautiful piece made in England c1880 to 1900. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting. The pattern in the centre is a wonderful crescent moon which is set with natural pearls, and a star above which is set within small old round-cut diamond. All along the necklaceare beautiful little tulip-shaped patterns, set with natural pearls. The pearls continue all the way to the back where the clasp is also set with wonderful pearls. A beautiful piece in superb condition and contained in its original box from the 19th century. It features a loop to attach a different charm or pendant below, in a day and night fashion.
