Simple but very beautiful ring made in England c1900 and set in a fine nine-carat yellow gold setting.
It is simply set with an oval-shaped rich fire opal in the centre set in a rub-over setting and the colouring in this opal is absolutely superb: it has loads of purple, blue, yellow and some green.
The ring is decorated on each shoulder in a split shank design.
