Small yet really beautiful ring, made c1940. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting and is simply set in the centre with a ruby stone set within four claws.

The ruby weight is approximately half a carat.
What is really unusual about this ring is the shoulders.: they are decorated in a beautiful leaf design, in what is known as a split shank.
