It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting and set in the centre with a single rose-cut diamond set within four claws, surrounded by four larger rose-cut diamonds. The beauty of this ring is that it is beautifully hand enamelled with blue enamel in near perfect condition, and unusually it comes in its original Parisian box.
