Really unusual single stone diamond set ring made c1940.
It is set in a fine handmade platinum setting with a really unusual pear-shaped diamond set within six claws.

The diamond weight here is one carat and eighty points, so nearly two carats.
Pear shapes are really unusual and difficult to find.
